The Al-Quran is the most famous and key holy book for Muslims. It is the central religious text of Islam, . The nature of this text has made it one of the worlds most widely translated documents, with over 100 different translations into more than 70 languages.This piece presents an Urdu translation of sūrah Al-Wāqiġah which has been translated by Dr. Ahmed Ali Qasmi . It contains all words in Arabic alphabet with its Urdu translation in English letters below each word in Arabic alphabet to make it easier for people to understand how every word in the holy Quran is rendered in Urdu. It is an attempt to present the holy Quran in its Urdu original form till now this translation/interpretation is based on the best-known translation of Al-Quran. The Surah known as Surah Al-Waqiah, means "The Marvels". It is the thirty third chapter of the Qur'an with English name, The Spider. This was one of the few surahs that the Prophet (peace be upon him) took more than 20 years to memorize. Its mention in various sources show that it also contains various verses which were never included in any other surah. The surah was revealed at different times during Muhammad's lifetime and has different names depending on where it was revealed. It is also one of the 66 Qur'anic Suras" (chapters) which were rejected by some of the companions of Muhammad. The number and length of this Surah is different in different versions, but its name and contents are common throughout. A brief extract from the translation by Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz [Jalal al-Din Al-Suyuti], professor of exegesis at Al Azhar University: The most notable feature of this Surah is the explanation given in the Quran to natural phenomena which was not known to scholars before Islam. It contains prophecies about destruction, earthquakes, celestial bodies and people's death, which were all tested by Muhammad (peace be upon him). According to a hadith in Sahih Bukhari, this surah is one of the surahs that would be recited in the Hour of Judgement. It will be recited in front of all people, and when it is finished he who hears it will die and will not be questioned again. According to a hadith in Sahih Bukhari, Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "This Surah is from the Suras that would be recited when people enter Paradise." [Sahih Bukhari]
